Body impressions / indentations are a normal occurrence in your new mattress and indicate that the upholstery layers are conforming to your body’s individual contours. To ensure your mattress is rotated properly, please follow the full cycle rotation: CLICK HERE
DO’S AND DON’TS OF MATTRESS CARE
DO turn your mattress on a regular basis. We suggest rotating the mattress every 2 months.
DO use a waterproof mattress protector to avoid stains; spoilage will nullify your warranty.
DO replace the old foundation when purchasing a new mattress. An old foundation may not provide adequate support.
DO use an appropriate bed frame with centre support.
DO expect body impressions/indentations. These are normal and indicate the comfort layers are conforming to your body.
DO NOT put a board between your mattress and foundation.
DO NOT bend your mattress under any circumstances as this may damage the innerspring.
DO NOT use any dry cleaning fluid of any type on your mattress. These chemicals will damage some of the construction materials.
Before you purchase double check:
1. Will your new sleep set fit in the door or stairway? We recommend to measure first.
2. Is the height of your new sleep set acceptable for your headboard, nightstand and other bedroom furniture?
3. Is a low profile frame or foundation required?
4. Did you purchase a mattress protector to protect your new mattress?

WARRANTY INFORMATION
Your new Furniture Spot Mattress is covered up to 20-year Limited Warranty. (see warranty time at product description)
All Customers are eligible for a period of up to 20-year limited warranty from the date of purchase at Furniture Spot or furniturespot.ca. We recommend a purchase of a waterproof mattress cover of the same size as the mattress. You should use a waterproof mattress cover at all times to protect your new mattress. Within 10 years if you experience a manufacturing defect that is covered under our warranty, we will offer a one-time replacement or repair of the original mattress size purchased. This includes all components of the mattress. If the claim happens during 100-night comfort trial, we will pause your trial until your mattress is replaced or repaired. There will be a nominal fee applied for the delivery services.
Furniture Spot will, at its option, repair or replace your mattress under the following conditions:
ITEMS COVERED DURING NORMAL WEAR:
MATTRESS:
Degradation, which causes the mattress to have a visible body impressions/indentations greater than 1.5”, not associated with the use of improper foundation, improper handling. For the warranty claim a proper foundation must be used at all times. Frame with no gaps larger than 4 inches. Coils or wires that protrude or rip through the fabric.
ITEMS NOT COVERED:
Body impressions/indentations less than 1.5”
A normal increase in softness of the foam/top of the mattress after a long-term use.
Mattress height
Bent border wire due to mishandling
Mattress handles
Sagging due to lack of center support on the bed frame
Edge sagging unless otherwise specified
Covering fabric on mattress
Any stains, burns, tears, cuts, or liquid/moisture damage resulting from use by customer or their environment.
Sleep set height, Sheet fit
Misuse, abuse, or improper care
Items employed for commercial purposes
Damage due to use with an inappropriate foundation.
Mattress must not be placed on the floor directly and must use a proper, raised frame which provide supports along the entire bottom surface of the mattress with no gaps greater than 4 inches.
Product that is sold by an unauthorized retailer or product that is in any way sold as “used” or any other similar wording indicating the product is not “new”.
Additional Warranty explanation: if a product says no warranty available means no comfort trial, no exchanges are available for the same product. It is final sale!
NOTE:
ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE WITH VALID ID.
Staining or soiling of mattress will void this warranty.
Warranty is void if the mattress is on an improper or modified support system.
Warranty is void if the mattress is purchased for commercial use.
Repair or replacement and exchange for comfort trial does not extend this warranty or begin a new warranty. Warranty is non-transferable.
No refunds, you will receive another mattress or have yours repaired if you have a defective mattress that falls under Furniture Spot Warranty requirements.
Replacements
Except for the terms provided herein, Furniture Spot will not charge the purchasers to repair or replace a purchaser’s Mattress if it is deemed defective during the length of this up to 20-year Limited Warranty, excluding the delivery for a nominal fee. No new warranty will be provided for the replacement product. The warranty approval process is up to Furniture Spot sole discretion, and not up to the customer’s interpretation of our warranty policy.
Your Responsibility
Furniture Spot mattress warranty covers the original purchaser of any Furniture Spot mattress who is located in Canada. Any warranty, or implied warranty, is only valid for the period of time the Mattress is owned by the original purchaser of the Mattress. The original purchaser, for the purposes of this warranty, is the first purchaser of the Mattress from Furniture Spot or furniturespot.ca. Please retain a copy of the original receipt as proof of purchase.
Photos, the item# (located on the mattress), and original proof of purchase may be required upon a warranty request in order to identify and assess the warranty issue.
Disclaimer, Limitation on Liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE MATTRESS IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND THIS WARRANTY AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE YOUR EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES AND REPLACE ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SOME PROVINCES OR TERRITORIES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
SOME PROVINCES OR OTHER JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM PROVINCE TO PROVINCE AND JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND EXCEPT AS SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED MATTRESS WARRANTY, IN NO EVENT WILL FURNITURE SPOT OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS OR OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE MATTRESS OR ITS USE BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY, WHETHER UNDER THEORY OF CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), INDEMNITY, PRODUCT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE. THIS LIMITATION WILL APPLY EVEN IF FURNITURE SPOT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF SUCH DAMAGES AND NOTWITHSTANDING THE FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY. FURNITURE SPOT’S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE MATTRESS GIVING RISE TO SUCH LIABILITY.
SOME PROVINCES OR TERRITORIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
FURNITURE SPOT MATTRESS’ ACTUAL MEASUREMENT SIZE MAY SLIGHTLY VARY. WE ALLOW FOR VARIANCES WITHIN 1 INCH (+/-) AS A RESULT OF VARIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS.
